Sur le spectre de la grosseur, je<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> suis <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ce qu\u2019on appelle <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">mid-fat<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0: je m\u2019habille en 2X, taille 18-20 selon les enseignes, avec des v\u00eatements sp\u00e9cifiques aux grandes tailles. \u00c9tant privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e dans ma grosseur, je n\u2019ai en aucun cas la pr\u00e9tention d\u2019\u00eatre la porte-parole d\u2019une exp\u00e9rience universelle. Il s\u2019agit ici de mon v\u00e9cu personnel et d\u2019une r\u00e9flexion tributaire de celleux qui l\u2019ont \u00e9clair\u00e9e de leurs ouvrages, de leurs articles ou de leurs <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">posts<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux. Parmi elleux, il me semble important de nommer et de remercier Aubrey Gordon, Jessica Prudencio, Julie Artacho, Gabrielle Lisa Collard, Daria Marx et Gras Politique, Sonalee Rashatwar, @<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">fatfabfeminist<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Caleb Luna, et, surtout, Roxane Gay, Da\u2019shaun Harrison et adrienne maree brown.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>+<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00c0 neuf ans, j\u2019ai suivi mon premier r\u00e9gime. \u00c0 dix ans, j\u2019ai arr\u00eat\u00e9 les cours de danse, honteuse de mon corps. \u00c0 treize et quatorze ans, j\u2019ai refus\u00e9 d\u2019aller \u00e0 la plage, mal \u00e0 l\u2019aise en maillot de bain, \u00e9touff\u00e9e par l\u2019impression constante d\u2019\u00eatre observ\u00e9e et jug\u00e9e. Entre mes quinze ans et mes dix-huit ans, j\u2019ai jongl\u00e9 entre Weight Watchers et Dukan. Puis le <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">low carb<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, le je\u00fbne intermittent, les <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cleanses<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> d\u00e9tox et le gym trois ou quatre fois par semaine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Je collectionne des carnets, en esp\u00e9rant qu\u2019un jour, j\u2019aurai les tripes de les remplir au-del\u00e0 des vingt premi\u00e8res pages. J\u2019en ai relu un r\u00e9cemment et j\u2019y avais \u00e9crit\u00a0:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2\u00a0ao\u00fbt 2018\u00a0:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Je lui cours apr\u00e8s, mais pas parce que j\u2019ai des sentiments pour lui. Surtout, elle doit \u00eatre le terrain de moqueries, de piti\u00e9, de d\u00e9go\u00fbt. Rares sont les repr\u00e9sentations culturelles mettant en sc\u00e8ne des corps gros (sur les spectres de la grosseur, du genre et de la sexualit\u00e9), d\u00e9sirables et d\u00e9sir\u00e9s, aimants et aim\u00e9s. Plus rares encore sont celles non hant\u00e9es par la perte de poids, le manque d\u2019estime et de confiance en soi, le harc\u00e8lement et la grossophobie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What were we given ?<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">#MeToo 2017.
